Hello all!!! Yes, wedding season is still running strong and I have been to several thus far and have a few more to go before the end of the summer. Well, just let me say…..I have heard many ladies say over and over, ” I want Jesus to send me my Boaz”. Really, are you really ready for this position it is like a job you’ve applied for ..you may qualify but some things are not mentioned in the job description? It is not a game meaning you must keep running even when you sometimes want to quit or throw in the towel but the mindset of a winner is to be like Forrest Gump…yes, be like the Olympian that you are and go after that medal of honor until death do we part. Oh, did I tell you that you must die to self..yes, it is now WE, not ME PHI ME. Compromise, communication, being attentive, dedicated, compassionate, slow to speak, being his biggest fan because he will need you to cheer him on especially when trials of the world beat up on him, and plenty of prayers!!! Don’t forget you must keep the flirting/dining and date night going. You know he is still the apple of your eye.
So if want you want Jesus to send Boaz to you, position yourself, ask Jesus to prepare you and clean you of your mess, yes…because you still got some ugly ways that maybe keep Boaz away, open your heart for opportunity VS being guarded or holding on to baggage from a prior relationship, Everyone deserves a chance until proven guilty that he isn’t worthy or just not the type. Be very clear when you petition Jesus with the request of BOAZ, write down qualifications and descriptions. Ruth went through a lot, a widow living in poverty, she lived in lack not complaining but she worked in a field picking up other people's leftovers. Can you imagine the humiliation she faced, how many BYE FELICIA’S she got?? No, don’t ask her out to lunch with the girls, she can’t hang with us, don’t invite Ruth over on Friday night to join us for girls’ night out to eat pizza and cucumber & lemon water or Sunday brunch. Look at her clothes, she doesn’t have a man, look at her appearance. Well, that’s what Boaz was looking at….her appearance far beyond sight, her beauty inside, from afar he watched her work ethic, her zeal, strong, fearlessness, determination, humility, long hours, no complaining, tenacity she exude while she was working in the fields on land Boaz owned. Ironic the underdog, the widow, lacking in all areas became Boaz's wife and rose to the top of entrepreneurship…co-owned the land, you know the saying what’s yours is mine!!!! Boaz saw a virtuous(Proverbs), phenomenal, faith-driven (Hebrews), Jesus took from the end of the line and put in the front while her enemies and haters looked confused because Jesus, the PROVIDER is like that(PSALM 23RD).
In conclusion please pray without ceasing. Trust God to order your steps and ask for revelation in areas you need wisdom. Be encouraged and mindful of how you treat people, don’t look down on them. Especially on the man, you may anticipate marrying and if not be the one that got away and be thankful because there is a lesson learned in every situation. Try to eat words off a dish filled with a positive attitude with a side of gratitude. Yummy and you might go back for more!!! Remember the very people you think aren’t worthy just might come out on top…like Ruth. Do not declare everyone to be Boaz, decree Jesus will send you the appointed one… be clear of that!!! Don’t look down, left or right.. look to Jesus, HE holds your future. Eyes haven’t seen and ears haven’t heard (1st Corinthians). Be blessed and get your Ruth on!!!
