A question was asked ,'if it's easy forget or forgive and if some could do both"? Well, let's just say I think one or the bother could be possible but with a trigger just around the corner waiting... just one more gain then that's what affords the forget to become a memory just waiting to come out and forgiveness ,,,well it is whatnot is ,,70X7,,OVER ,REPEAT, AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!!
You see I am a firm believer people are creatures of habits. We will store stuff in your brain/mind, suppress in your cavity of the heart and bury them in your soul ,,,generally all are lying dormant just waiting for the opportunity to pop out as a constant of what the other person is capable of doing based on what they have done . The wonderful Church going people calls it the used to be line but then they're same delightful Church going people along with the other's that are not the Church going population, call it I remember when!!! They won't let it go, it's just swept under a comfy place called the MIND. You know the memory bank or the thinking cap. It starts like this,,,remember the time.
So if you could decide which one forget or forgive? Be honest, which one? And if you say you could do both then I applaud you! It's not impossible but does take a lot of discipline and compassion to just have the ability to JUST LET IT GO...ALL OF IT!!! I do know if you want to heal from anything you must master this and it does take time to obtain that level humility.
So as we transition into 2024 remember show some compassion. No I am not advocating you to become a door mat. Set boundaries but to stack memories that disservice you hold no joy, cherish fond memories but dish the negative or if you can't let go, get help . Leave this annoyance of unnecessary heaviness in 2023, the past. You are better off !
